This is a list of the top tools I recommend for creating LifterLMS websites with WordPress
LMS:
- LifterLMS: LifterLMS is the tool I use for all types of online course websites. It is a great tool if you’re starting on a budget as it is free with the core plugin or if you have a premium site to set up, LifterLMS can scale as well. https://wpcourseguide.com/LifterLMS
Web hosting:
- WP Engine: A premium host for WordPress sites (a good option if you’re working with a few sites or less and are expecting high traffic out of the gates) https://wpcourseguide.com/WPEngine
- SiteGround: A good budget host for getting started (or even long-term if you have many sites. I still use SiteGround to host WPCourseGuide.com) https://wpcourseguide.com/SiteGround
Themes:
- BuddyBoss: The BuddyBoss theme has terrific design, social components, and a great LMS feel built-in, be sure to check out the instant demo they have at the link here: https://wpcourseguide.com/go/buddyboss.
- Astra: The Astra theme is a great theme for building with LifterLMS, it is simple, clean, and very easy to learn to use. https://wpcourseguide.com/Astra
Page Builder:
- Elementor: Elementor is my preferred page builder. (The template system along with Lifter Elements creates for a great integration if you’re looking for that premium design) https://wpcourseguide.com/Elementor
- Lifter Elements: An integration between LifterLMS and Elementor that allows you to use Elementor templates on your LifterLMS lessons and a suite of LifterLMS-specific widgets for Elementor: https://wpcourseguide.com/lifterelements
Affiliate Software:
- AffiliateWP: A great option if you’re looking to have affiliates for your site either through WooCommerce or LifterLMS directly: https://wpcourseguide.com/AffiliateWP
CRM Integration:
- WP Fusion: If you work with a CRM to manage your email list such as ActiveCampaign, Infusionsoft, or many other options, then WP Fusion is the best way I have found to integrate your CRM with LifterLMS and WordPress in general: https://wpcourseguide.com/WPFusion
WooCommerce Special:
- CartFlows: If you’re working with WooCommerce, then I’d definitely recommend checking out a tutorial on CartFlows. It allows you to create sales funnels and custom checkout and cart pages for your WooCommerce store via your favorite page builder (Elementor, Beaver Builder, or WordPress Gutenberg): https://wpcourseguide.com/CartFlows
The links featured in this article are my affiliate links, so if you click on them before purchasing any products from the above companies I get a commission on the sale. I do endorse and use all of the above products.
